BELVEDERE MAORPET INC. - A COMPANY INCORPORATED UNDER THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE
Belvedere MAORPET Inc. started life at the end of the eighties. The first engagements of the company included data base management, quality control and software development for different oil companies.
The company went through several merging and splitting during the past years. Names and the owner structure changed a few times from the original Geodigital Meinerzhagen GmbH (1988) to Belvedere MAORPET Inc. in 2007.
As the time passed, the main profile of the company was shifted first to seismic data processing, and later on we slowly moved from the number crunching to more sophisticated targets; seismic interpretation, consultancy and reservoir analyses services. Recently Belvedere MAORPET Inc. was involved in:
- services for non conventional gas accumulation projects.
- micro-seismic applications for monitoring of fracturing by surface seismic.
- discovering residual gas accumulations between abandoned wells.
- VSP processing of many kind.
- creating virtual sonic log and gamma ray log seismic sections.
- fault system analyses, especially including horizontal faulting and buried channels.
Our seismic data processing and seismic interpretation software facilities are capable to handle any kind of 2D, 3D, 3C, and 4D projects.
Our hardware is based on high performance personal computers, equipped with strong graphic cards. We use intensively the multi-tasking capabilities of the thousands of cores included in those cards. Even our smallest units have over 1000 cores (CPUs). This means for example that the pre-stack 3D source point based depth migration belongs to the "basic" processing sequence in our terminology. Testing several parameters is not limited by the processing time.
We use CentOS Linux operating system (CentOS)
There is an "educational" session on the last pages of this web site. It comes as the courtesy of one of our former owners.
He used to be a lecturer at the Hungarian Lorand Eotvos University and he did not want to let his collected material to vanish by the times.
